Managing Partner

He has over 15 years experience in market and social research. He has over the years worked in various capacities as field supervisor, executive interviewer; research executive and research manager. He handled research projects for various Multi-national companies including British American Tobacco, UNICEF, USAID, GSMF, CMS, Unilever, Multi-choice, Guinness, Cadbury, MTN, Coca Cola, Nestle, VOA, RFI and BBC etc. He is also well versed in the use and application of various research methods, tools and software. With vast experience in project coordination and delivery, he oversees all projects and ensures deliverables and specifications are implemented. Ireneus holds a B.A (Hons) degree in Political Science and Masters of Science degree in Marketing and Business management from UK. Most recently, he pursued and acquired a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration, with a speciality in Brand Management from the Swiss Business School, Switzerland. Before that, he obtained a master’s degrees in Applied Business Research from the Swiss Business School.

Research Manager

An experienced researcher with multi-country experience across West and some parts of Central Africa for 13 years. Matthew has worked for RMS International and TNS. Prior to joining CiC he was a Senior Research Executive. He has vast experience in FMCG, B-to-B, Telecommunication, Pricing Study, Product Development and Initialization (Product Test), U&A study, Mystery Shopping, Media Study, Trade Research and Social Research. He has worked for large multi-national and local clients and has done almost all types of research. He is excellent in using Advanced Excel, SPSS and STATA in doing most analyses and solving problems. Matthew has a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Master of Science in Statistics, Graduate from the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, Certificate in Market Research from University of Georgia, USA. He is an Affiliate member of European Society for Opinion and Market Research (ESOMAR). His written papers are, Determinant of Poverty in Ghana using Discriminant Analysis and Determinants of Customer Satisfaction among Users of Mobile Phone Networks using Multiple and Multinomial Logistic Regressions.

A seasoned qualitative market researcher composed in managing project set up, standard groups amongst others in diverse areas. Specializes in modern qualitative research techniques, which involves data collection (focus group discussion, in-depth interviews, ethnographies, mini-groups), content analysis and action driven reporting to impact brands positively. She has over 6 year work experience in market research and is poised in U&A studies, Concept Evaluation, Packaging assessment, Advert evaluation, Imagery studies etc.

Sampling & Methodologist

Cyprian has his first degree in Economics and Political Science and Master’s Degree in Social Policy Studies all from University of Ghana coupled with enormous experience as a quantitative and qualitative researcher and social policy analyst. Cyprian has over 16 years quantitative and qualitative research experience with many national and international organizations. Cyprian has worked with TNS RMS Ghana for over 3 years as the sampling and methodologist. His main area of expertise is sampling, methodology, quantitative and qualitative research coordinator. He has conducted extensive research in the field of National Population Census, household income, small medium enterprise development projects, agriculture households’ census, education, sanitation and poverty in Ghana. His association with research institutions such as Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) that he worked for over 12 years and rose to Senior Statistician at the Head Office and at the District Office. He also studied in South Korea at Statistics Korea-KOICA and worked with the following institutions; Centre for the Study of African Economies-Oxford University, University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) as Consultant for Assessing Potential Public Health Benefits from Clean Team Toilets in Kumasi, Institute of Statistical, Social and Economics Research (ISSER)-University of Ghana, Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-STEPRI) on e-access and ICT USAGE in Ghana, Associates for Change (AfC) Ghana, National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) Ghana, Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) on a World Bank/USAID funded project called Ghana Commercial Agriculture Project (GCAP) it is a baseline study on agricultural producers in small and medium scale enterprises that deals in maize, rice, soya, fruits and vegetables in the Accra plain and SADA zone as the sampling expert who designed the sampling and the methodology of the study, Cyprian also worked on a French Embassy sponsored project for AfC Ghana, also worked on ISODEC projects, VSO sponsored projects, RTI project as Country representative for internet adoption Project, Social Impact (SI) project and many other projects. Cyprian also coordinated a Trade Hub/USAID/Abt sponsored Certificate of Origin (COO) corridor project in over 5 West African Countries. Working will all these institutions enables him to oversee and conduct extensive research.

Senior Research Executive

Isaac joined CiC in May 2013 from Centre for Environmental Economics Research & Consultancy as Research Assistant and since that time has risen through the ranks and is now a Senior Research Executive. His experience mainly lies in quantitative research where he has been involved in delivering proposals, designing questionnaires, managing fieldwork, performing data analysis and providing reports and presentations for clients, although he has also been exposed to an array of qualitative research techniques. He has worked with major clients across a number of sectors, including Nestlé, Coca Cola, MTN, Vodafone, PZ Cussons and Promasidor. Isaac earned a degree in Economics and Statistics from University of Ghana and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is also well versed in the use of various research application tools and software not limited to MS Excel, SPSS and STATA.

Emmanuel has an all-encompassing experience in statistical data management and quality controlling. He also doubles as CAPI expert by scripting questionnaires and managing data through that medium. He is well versed in using various statistical tools like SPSS, STATA etc. Emmanuel holds a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Mathematics & Economics from the University for Development Studies.

Ken's experience dates back from being an interviewer, supervisor to field executive and now Assistant Project manager for all tracking Projects both local and international in Consumer Insights Consult. With over 9 years’ experience in market research and field execution, he has managed trade auditing studies for over 4 years. He has done field execution in countries like Senegal, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Burkina Faso Cameroon, Guinea and Togo. He has also managed Brand Health Trackers and Customer Evaluation studies for multinationals and local companies like Coca-Cola, Unilever, MTN, Airtel and others. Ken holds a first degree in Information Studies and Linguistics from the University of Ghana and a Certificate from EIT Digital in Marketing Strategy for Entrepreneurs.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Psychology from the University of Ghana. She has over 2 years experience in qualitative research. Since assuming into her position as research executive, she has worked with various clients such as Vodafone Gh, MTN GH, Tigo Ghana, Promasidor Ghana, Fanmilk Ghana Limited, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Nestle, Beiersdorf, Arla etc. Her skills and abilities spans in project setup, data collection (in-depth interviews, focus group discussion moderation, mini-groups, in-home visits), analysis and reporting.
